Events In Sound DJ Website
Brief Description
The goal of this project was to create a website for a local Chicago dj to help increase event bookings. The overall look and feel of the site was important in order to reach a broad range of audiences.
Methods Used
Our team conducted competitive analysis of other local dj sites. We also performed task analysis with users to observe how one navigates and searches for certain dj information. From the task analysis results, usability specifications were established. A list of objects and actions were then compiled for a card sort exercise where users arranged them according to their mental models. All this information helped to establish a quick paper prototype of the site for usability testing. From the usability test results, a high fidelity online prototype was created.
