E-Commerce Site: Chairs a la Mode, Inc.
Brief Description
Adopting B2B and B2C models, this project focused on the establishment of the Chairs a la Mode, Inc.(CALMI) website. Our team aimed to provide the ability to customize chairs (i.e. parts, colors, type, material, backseat), offer competitive prices and a unique and easy shopping experience. Customers will be able to place online orders, register with CALMI, view order history, and track shipments.
Methods Used
Our team considered various business, technical, and design requirements for site production. Our first iteration of the site was prototyped through wireframes. We used these wireframes to conduct usability testing on four customer processes: customizing a chair, registering, going through the check out process, and tracking an order.
