Events In Sound was formed in 1985 by Joel Calderone. Joel Calderone made a promise to himself that after graduating from Purdue University with a B.S. in Computer Technology
and a B.S. in Organizational Behavior, he would follow his passion in life and start DJing.
Now after 20 plus years of DJing, Events In Sound is as popular for the dances they are hired for as the non-dancing events. Joel Calderone and the crew DJ Chilli Cook-off's, Family Game Night, American Cancer Society's Relay For Life and many other functions.
With a deep musical library, Events In Sound can come up with almost any popular song from the 1950's through the present. Our library extends back with many of the popular songs of the 1930's and 1940's also.
Joel Calderone has been contacted by several radio stations to supply them with a missing song they would like in the radio station's library. Joel Calderone has also been a music consultant for several CD projects with various record companies.
Early on, Joel Calderone teamed up with some of the greatest DJ's in the Chicago area. Tom Vaughn, Brian Cummings and Keith Raimbolt have been DJing with Joel Calderone for over ten years.
